Aldersgate welcomes church members and community members to utilize our campus for gatherings, events, and special occasions. Our facilities support our mission of connecting, knowing, loving, and growing for both our internal groups and the surrounding North Durham community.
Below, you’ll find an overview of our reservation process, photos of our campus, room descriptions, common door access details for each space, and a fee schedule outlining costs associated with facility use. All requests are reviewed by our Trustees Committee to ensure we adhere to our policies regarding the use of our facilities. We look forward to helping you find the perfect space for your needs!

Before proceeding, ensure you have completed Step 1.
Once all required documents are completed and ready for upload, click the button below to access and complete our Event Request Form.
When your request has been submitted successfully, you will receive a confirmation email. During the review period, church staff and a Board of Trustees representative will ensure your request conforms to our policies and does not conflict with any other scheduled events.
After the review period, you will receive an email with confirmation of approval or denial of your request along with any necessary information for your event.
Once your request is approved, the event details will be added to the church calendar, forwarded to the Facilities Manager, and shared with the Communications Director.

Our FLC Gym is carpeted and features curtains that can be drawn to create dividers. The space can accommodate approximately 40 round tables, 6 long tables, and 160 folding chairs, all of which are available upon request through AUMC. Setup fees may apply if facilities are required to set up for personal functions. A stage and AV equipment are available upon request, with prior approval and potential fees. The gym includes an attached kitchen, which is for member use only; however, all guests may use the microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. Restrooms are located in the hallway outside the space.

This room is on the second floor of the FLC accessible by stairs or ADA elevator. Restrooms are located in the hallway directly across from FLC 205. It is a shared space featuring two whiteboards, a TV with HDMI connection, and tables that can accommodate approximately 40 people. An additional 10-12 chairs are available for extra seating.

This room is on the second floor of the FLC accessible by stairs or ADA elevator. Restrooms are located in the hallway directly across from FLC 205. This space is available only during the summer (Approximately end of may through September 1st) It is an open room with a few standard chairs, no tables, and no TV, designed to create a relaxed lounge atmosphere. It can accommodate up to 10-12 people.

This room is on the second floor of the FLC accessible by stairs or ADA elevator. Restrooms are located in the hallway directly by the entrance of the room on the elevator side. This space is shared by our local Scouts and Bull City Youth and Kids programs. It is equipped with tables and chairs, as well as recreational amenities including couches, a TV, a foosball table, and a pool table.

This room is our standard worship space. Food is not allowed. Restrooms are located outside the space near the ADA accessible ramp.

The room features six long tables, providing seating for up to 50 people. It is equipped with a TV that includes an HDMI connection and a DVD player. The room also has an adjoining kitchen, accessible through two windows that can be closed for privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. Please note, the kitchen is available for use upon request.

Our activity field is gated approximately 360 feet wide by 340 feet long, encircled by a walking track. Primarily utilized by our Upward Soccer ministry, the field is available for use upon request. We would like to discuss your event to ensure the integrity of our field. Restrooms are located inside the FLC and access can be requested for use.

Our picnic shelter offers a spacious, shaded retreat featuring 14 sturdy picnic tables set on a durable concrete slab. The space does have electrical outlets for access to power. It’s the ideal spot for outdoor gatherings in the spring, summer, and fall. Restrooms are located inside the FLC and access can be requested for use.
