Streaming Worship

on media players

 (currently compatible with Apple TV, Fire TV, and RoKu TV)

Aldersgate UMC provides multiple ways to stream the Sunday Worship services online. You are able to stream the worship services on a browser. You can also stream the worship services using the compatible streaming media players.


To view worship services live:

Open the BoxCast channel during our regular worship time and select the live broadcast. 


To view recorded services:

Open the BoxCast channel at any time and scroll down to select a recorded service. 


Apple TV Setup

Aldersgate Sunday worship can be livestreamed and archives can be viewed using the Apple TV platform. 

What you will need:

  • a compatible TV
  • an Apple TV device
  • Stable internet (wired or wireless)

1. Install the Boxcast App to your Apple TV device

  1. In the App Store, search for BoxCast.  
  2. Select BoxCast, and Install.

2. Then, add the Aldersgate channel to your BoxCast

  1. Search for the Aldersgate channel. 
  2. Select the Aldersgate logo. 
  3. Select Add to Favorites. 


FireTV Stick

Aldersgate Sunday worship can be livestreamed and archives can be viewed using the Amazon Fire platform. 

What you will need:

  • a FireTV or FireStick device
  • Stable internet (wired or wireless)

1. Install the BoxCast Platform to your FireTV device

  1. Select Search (the magnifying glass).  
  2. Select BoxCast and Get. 
  3. Select Open to open the BoxCast channel.  

2. Then, add the Aldersgate channel to your BoxCast

  1. Open the BoxCast channel. 
  2. In the Search Channels box, enter aldersgate and select submit.  
  3. Select the Aldersgate logo.
  4. Select Add to Favorites.  


Roku TV Stick

Aldersgate Sunday worship can be livestreamed and archives can be viewed using the Roku platform. 

What you will need:

  • a Roku compatible TV or Roku device
  • Stable internet (wired or wireless)

1. Install the BoxCast channel to your Roku device

  1. Select Add Channels.  
  2. Select Search Channels - look for BoxCast
  3. Select Add Channel.  

2. Then, add the Aldersgate channel to your BoxCast Channel

  1. Select the BoxCast channel. 
  2. Select Find an Organization. 
  3. Enter Aldersgate. 
  4. Select the Aldersgate logo.
