ADVENT & CHRISTMAS at ALDERSGATE


  • One Sunday Worship Service 11:00 am Dec. 29th

    Dec. 29th, ONE Sunday Worship Service, 11:00 am, Lessons and Carols in the Sanctuary. No Sunday School or Kids Own Worship. Child Care is available.  


  • Moravian Lovefeast * Dec. 22nd

    The Moravian Lovefeast will be held in the Family Life Center at 6:30 pm on Sunday, December 22nd. 

  • Christmas Eve Worship Services * Dec 24th

    Dec. 24th, Christmas Eve Services - Family Worship Service begins at 4:00 pm. This is a “No-rehearsal Christmas pageant”. 


    Two Traditional Christmas Eve Worship Services at 7:00 & 11:00 pm include Communion and Candlelight. All worship services are held in the Sanctuary.

  • The Chrismon Service with The Hanging of the Greens, 

    Sunday, December 1st * 8:30 & 

    11:00 am

    The decorating of the Christmon tree and The Hanging of the Greens will be held in the Sanctuary during the 8:30 and 11:00 Sunday Worship time. Everyone can participate in decorating the Christmon tree. 

  • Advent Series * Wednesday Nights

    Beginning December 4th

    Advent Series "Beholding the Glory: The Joy of the Incarnation" Wednesday, Dec. 4 & 11th, 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary. 

  • Christmas Cantata * Handel's Messiah

    Dec. 15th

    The Christmas Cantata will be in the Sanctuary accompanied by an orchestra during the 8:30 and 11:00 Sunday Worship time.
