R Wave Respite
Next meeting Monday, April 13 2026
Respite - 10:00 a.m. on the 2nd Floor of the FLC in the Youth/Scout/R Wave Room!
Fun, Games, Socialization, and a hot lunch included
Respite meets every Monday 10am-2pm
R Wave will not meet on Monday April 6th
The R Wave Support Group meets on the first and third Mondays of every month at 10:30 a.m. in room 207 of the FLC. Their next meeting is on April 20th.
R Wave is pleased to share the following update. R Wave Respite has enjoyed 6 weeks of our new ministry with our Care Partners, Loved Ones and our Super Star Volunteers. We have had Fun, Food & Fellowship every week.
We are planning a future activity using LEGOS - If you have any regular sized LEGOS please put them in the box outside the main office. We do not need any Large Duplo blocks or small mini legos.

AUMC Soccer
Thursday night soccer in the FLC gym – want to join us?? It’s open to anyone 13 and older, and you don’t have to be a soccer pro just to have fun and play.

Worship Series: Mercy In the Wilderness
Journey the Path to Easter through the Wilderness of Lent
Jesus' life is marked by the wilderness. Before his ministry began Jesus and his family navigated the wilderness of being refugees fleeing violence all before his time of temptation. Jesus was sustained through all his wilderness experiences by God’s mercy. He enters the wilderness of our lives to reveal that mercy is more than an action that God performs, but it is the essence of God’s identity. All lives are marked by wilderness. During this season of Lent we will be looking at the theme of Mercy in the Wilderness, opening our eyes to God’s mercy meeting us and awakening compassion for all who are experiencing wilderness in their lives.
Community Pickleball
Join us in the FLC Gym on Tuesday, March 31st from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. for community pickleball. Play games or volley back-and-forth with friends. Grab a paddle and come join us for a fun evening!
Circles of Love/Sacred Stitches
Sacred Stitches Prayer Ministry is meeting Sunday, April 12th at 3pm in the Wesley Room. All skill levels are welcome and supplies can be provided. Questions, contact Susan Parham at parham.susan@gmail.com.
Guatemala: Sacred Stitches
The women and children in Guatemala were most grateful to receive your many gifts that were recently delivered by a delegation from Delaware.
The women loved the beautiful baby caps and blankets that were made by members of Sacred Stitches, and the prayer bracelets that that were made by the Circles of Love. Many thanks to Susan and Regina for organizing these wonderful projects.
And because of YOU and your generosity, many young women received sewing scholarships which will change their lives now and in years to come.

Keto Support Group
With the help of Dr. Eric Westman from Duke, we coordinated A keto support group for both members and nonmembers of the church. This group meets the first Monday of every month from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the FLC Gym. Come join this great group!
