Our
History
The Helping Hands Circle began in 1991-92 with only three members, Judy
Maupin, Pam Boatright and Ardith Smith. Named by Ardith Smith, the focus
of the circle is to do mission work, lend our helping hand inside the
church as well as the community.
Whether our hands are praying, cooking a meal, sewing a baby dress,
visiting nursing homes, or making health and school kits, we believe that
with many hands together we can complete any task. With only six members
in the early days, they served 100 people at the 1st Mother Daughter
Brunch. This yearly brunch has now become a trademark of The Helping Hands
Circle.
