FELLOWSHIP FRIENDS:
Have you ever gone to a place where you knew no one, then
someone came along beside you and welcomed you, introduced you
to others, gave you a tour of the facilities, introduced you to
different groups, asked you about your faith journey, and made
you feel at home? That's what Fellowship Friends are all about.
You are invited to volunteer to become a Fellowship Friend. You
will be trained and given the tools necessary to accomplish the
journey. What is needed from you is your commitment and
willingness to guide guests who decide to become part of the
community of faith at Aldersgate. Please contact Pastor Al or Kaye
Harris. Thanks in Christ.

In Rick Warren's The
Purpose Driven Life, Purpose #3 - You Were Created
to Become Like Christ, he writes: "...Spiritual maturity is not
solitary, individual pursuit! You cannot grow to Christ likeness in
isolation. You must be around other people and interact with them.
You need to be a part of a church and community. Why? Because true
spiritual maturity is all about learning to love like Jesus and you
can't practice being like Jesus without being in relationships with
other people ..."

Aldersgate's Building
Committee |
 |
|
| |
Aldersgate's
Building Committee has made the first of many decisions necessary
for building our new sanctuary. After much consideration,
discussion, and interviewing, an architectural firm has been
selected. WKWW from Charlotte has "designed religious,
educational, recreation facilities for over 500 churches since
1956". Quite a number of those facilities are in the triangle
area. If you would like to know more about this group, their
information and photographs of some of their facilities, are on
their website at
www.wkwwarchitects.com.
Please keep the
Building Committee and WKWW in your prayers as we endeavor to grow
Aldersgate's mission and ministry in this community.
